Welcome to the Mid Sussex Choir Website

The Mid Sussex Choir was founded in 1946 and provides a local opportunity for amateur choral singing. It is a good choir to sing with - very much a community - asking of its members only that they love singing and apply themselves to it.

Under the genial baton of Andrew Sutton, who has been with the choir now for 24 years, it offers a happy and friendly atmosphere in which singing thrives. The choir was conducted for over 30 years by the late Miss Hilary Preston who then became the president and was actively involved with the choir for 56 years.

We are always looking for new singers and anyone wishing to join us would be most welcome. We begin rehearsals again on Wednesday 4th January 2012 when we will be working towards our concert on 28th January. Rehearsals for our 65th birthday celebration concert in April will begin on 1st February. So if you would like to join us just come along and meet us at 7.45pm in Perrymount Road Methodist Church, Haywards Heath.
