Join Us for Our 80th Anniversary Season


Be part of our landmark year of music, celebration, and community


As we celebrate our 80th anniversary, we are inviting new singers to join us for a truly special concert season.  This celebratory programme brings together beloved British classics, moving sacred works, and rousing favourites from stage and screen, performed with organ and piano accompaniment.


Whether you're an experienced singer or returning to music, this is a wonderful opportunity to be part of a friendly, supportive choir marking a historic milestone.


Highlights of the anniversary programme include:


  • Stirring choral classics such as Parry’s I Was Glad and Jerusalem
  • Beautiful reflective works including Rutter’s A Flower Remembered and Goodall’s Psalm 23
  • Popular favourites from Elgar, Jenkins, and Wood’s Sea Songs
  • A crowd-pleasing selection from musical theatre, including Phantom of the Opera, Evita, Jesus Christ Superstar, Cats, and Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat
  • Traditional and folk favourites such as Danny Boy, Spanish Ladies, Ar Hyd y Nos, and Rule, Britannia!


Rehearsals start on Wednesday 7th January 2026.  If you love singing and want to be involved in a memorable season of music-making, we'd love to hear from you



The Mid Sussex Choir made up from a cross section of the community. New members are always welcome!


No auditions or former experience is necessary.


From Classical to Musical Theatre, we sing in four-part harmony,  embracing a wide range of music expertly guided by a professional musical director and accompanist.


Our choir meets on Wednesday evenings at 7.30 pm, finishing around 9.30 pm. 


We meet at the Methodist Church, Perrymount Road, Haywards Heath RH16 3DN between September and June.
